The Hush HD1012 Acoustic system is a high performance acoustic insulation that can be used for both floors and ceilings. It combines a number of advanced acoustic insulation products from Hush Acoustics including Hush Panel 28, a market-leading sound insulating panels for floating floors, joist strips seals and absorbers. Full specification and installation is available from the Hush Acoustics team.
The development of the HD1012 system reflects the need for an economical sound insulation system for use between separating floors built using timber joists in refurbishment projects. By testing this as a complete system, specifiers can have full confidence that it complies fully with all the Building Regulations covering the UK - Approved Document E (England & Wales), Section 5 (Scotland) or Part G (Northern Ireland).
The HD1012 system comprises:
Acoustic Performance*
Impact (L’nT,w) - 56 dB
Airborne (DnT,w) - 54 dB
Airborne (DnT,w + Ctr) - 45 dB
* Results based on 200mm timber joists at 450mm centres.
Please note that these product properties are not a replacement for the manufacturer's literature and it is always recommended that Hush Acoustics is consulted before specifying.
