The HD1040 Hush Wall System is a highly versatile solution for providing acoustic treatment for timber stud, metal stud, brick and block walls, delivering high standards of airborne sound reduction. Tested as a complete system and fully compliant with all UK Building Regulations - Approved Document E (England & Wales), Part G (Northern Ireland) and Section 5 (Scotland) - HD1040 is ideal for transforming sound insulation levels in different separating wall constructions.
Its innovative design and application will reduce both flanking and direct sound transmission with only a minimal loss of space in the room. This is achieved by using a composite three layered board (1800mm x 900mm x 27mm) and a resilient bar system.
The HD1040 Hush Wall System utilises a number of Hush Acoustics' advanced sound insulation materials to combine in a powerful solution. It is created as follows:
Acoustic Performance*
Impact (L’nT,w) - 58 dB
Airborne (DnT,w) - 48 dB
Airborne (DnT,w + Ctr) - 58 dB
* Results based on 100mm timber stud wall.
Please note that these product properties are not a replacement for the manufacturer's literature and it is always recommended that Hush Acoustics is consulted before specifying.
