A leading manufacturer specialising in incorporating phase change materials into building products under the brand name ThermaCoolëå, and the GeoClima_†¢ radiant heating and cooling system THERMACOOLëå ThermaCoolëå products are designed to increase the thermal mass of lightweight and super insulated buildings as well as reduce the energy consumption of existing HVAC system. GEOCLIMA_†¢ is a dual function heating and cooling ceiling system that uses polypropylene capillary mats through which low water temperatures of 16ëC for cooling and 32ëC for heating flows, making the system very efficient by placing less demand on the boiler or chiller, as well as improving the indoor air quality and thermal comfort for the occupants. It can also be connected to renewable heating and cooling sources including geothermal, solar and air-water heat pumps to benefit from almost free heating and cooling all year round. Installed above either a seamless plasterboard finished ceiling or a suspended modular ceiling grid, the GeoClima_†¢ system is completely silent and distributes the radiant heating or cooling more evenly across the complete ceiling surface. Through the use of an innovative GEO1 controller the room temperature and humidity is constantly monitored to ensure the system always operates above dew point.
