Vision 8000 FR Series Riser Doors - 1hr Fire Rated - 2hr Fire Rated, 33dB Acoustic Rating

The PROFAB Vision 8000 FR Series of fire rated concealed riser doors provide access to mechanical and electrical services concealed behind interior jointless plaster and plasterboard walls.

The Vision 8000 FR Series offers safe, discreet vertical access to building services in hotels, commercial buildings and residential developments where a fire rated and aesthetically pleasing finish is required.

CERTIFIRE fire rated up to 120 minutes the VISION 8000 FR Series has been bi-directionally fire tested for fire integrity from both sides and has a standard acoustic rating of 33dB.

Installed prior to tiling, the façade of the riser door can be clad in a range of materials* including stone, marble, glass, ceramic and tile. Suitable for heavy-duty applications the Vision 8000 FR Series is specified for commercial, public and high-end residential buildings, hotel foyers, kitchens, bathrooms and shower rooms.

COMPOSITION & MANUFACTURE

The 1.5mm factory welded metal frame, with concealed frame flange, holds a 1.5mm thick electro galvanised steel door tray lined with a tile-backing board. The door is held closed by a three-point lock (3PL) or three-point high-security lock (3HS).

Manufactured to order the riser doors are designed to match a specific tile module. A tile frame (TF) profile ensures the doors are fully concealed, after installation only the open grout line is visible. A constant grout width gap is maintained between the door and the frame by the load-bearing hinge system, with up to 120kg capacity. The maximum tile and adhesive build depth is 25mm.

Available in a single door (SD) and double door (DD) configurations the Vision 8000 FR Series has a powder-coated RAL 9010 matt finish as standard with the option for other RAL colours if required.

*Note: Only non-combustible cladding material, including any adhesives, should be used with the VISION 8000 FR Series riser doors.
