LeakSaver 1 & 2

The LeakSaver Panels are designed to work alongside our range of Water Meters in order to detect possible leaks in a system and create a more efficient supply of water into properties. By utilising either a Single Pulsed Input on the LeakSaver 1 or two separate Pulsed Inputs for the LeakSaver 2, the amount of water that has passed is monitored over set periods of time. Should the volume surpass pre-set flow limits then the alarm will trigger both visually and through an audio output and the source of the possible leak can be picked up on much earlier than if the system was not present. Whether it's a simple tap left open or a more serious leak in the pipework, by identifying this at a much earlier stage a lot less water is wasted.

The use of the LeakSaver 1 and 2 complies to WAT02 BREEAM requirements as the water supply is being monitored and the wastage of water consumption is being deterred and controlled. With the addition of Latching Valves, the LeakSaver units can actively shut off water supplies when the alarm system is tripped providing further control to prevent wasted water consumption. The use of the Latching Valves and the control features on the LeakSaver gives a credit towards WAT03 of the BREEAM requirements.

The LeakSaver units are 230vac mains powered or a 12v Battery can be supplied to power the unit internally. The LeakSavers also have Pulsed Outputs in order to relay the Water Meter data further to BMS Systems or other data logging facility. The units are simple to install with some rudimentary knowledge but should commissioning be needed at all then we can offer assistance either over the phone or as a site visit.
