Elster Helix 4000 Cold Water Meter

For larger systems and flow requirements, the Helix 4000 Meter from Elster can be supplied. This range adopts a Woltmann measuring style to handle broad ranges of flow in a size range of 40-300mm. The maximum operating temperature is 50°C making the meter ideal for cold water applications. To extend this suitability further, the Helix Meters are all WRAS & MID approved allowing them to be used with Potable Drinking Water applications and Billing requirements.

The Woltmann measuring style and high levels of calibration mean the Helix 4000 delivers high performance when used in either horizontal or vertical pipes. All Meters within this range have a PN16 Flanged connection.

The addition of a PR7 Pulse Unit gives the meter remote data communication so readings can be picked up by a BMS or AMR system. The PR7 Pulse Units have a few different models available which will give pulses in different ratios of 10 litres, 100 litres and 1000 litres per pulse. We can also offer a PR7M which gives an M-Bus output should the meter need to transmit data over a wired network.
