General Description
A range of 65mm nominal diameter 'high-pressure' balanced fire hydrant regulating valves comprising of a valve body with an 'Integeral Pressure Controlling Element' suitable for both on and off-shore applications.
Application Description
The PRV 6 is an Integeral design pressure regulating valve with an additional feature to allow the valve to operate also at in line pressure (I.e. unregulated as a conventional hydrant valve) the mode changeover is controlled by the hand wheel. From shut off the valve can only be opened in the regulated mode. Only then can the operator manually override the regulation
