Description
TREND Artistic is the classical Italian concept that describes a mosaic made from individual units. In this process each tile is trimmed by had to achieve a desired shape. Hand cutting each tile creates a natural line that allows a pattern to curve. Artistic Mosaic is the real deal . It is a medium where artists can express themselves without boundaries. The versatility of an artistic mosaic design, allows intricate and very detailed decorations to be achieved on small spaces. When necessary the mosaic pieces are hand cut but they are not so much cut as they are broken. The goal is to control the fracture of the tile so that the right shape and appearance is achieved. The tile is manually assembled so all details are replicated in their true form.
Custom decors will require an image of the design in proportion with installation area.
Benefits
Glass mosaic has its own aesthetic strengths, arising from the simplicity of the material, and has endless applications for original and creative decorative effects. Glass is highly resistant to thermal shock and has technical characteristics that allows its use outside or even under water. This product is waterproof and is colour cast without the use of adhesives or paint surfaces, so that the shade remains unaffected by sunlight and does not wear out over time.
Applications
Wallpaper mosaic can be laid on floors or vertically on interior and exterior surfaces. It is also suitable for water applications, such as shower trays or swimming pools. The size of the tesserae and the frequency of the joint (1mm) mean the surface has inherent slip resistance. Although the mosaic is waterproof, this does not preclude waterproofing the foundation substrate in swimming pools and similar applications.
