MIDI blocks are 140mm Solid Dense Concrete Blocks but with a length of 290mm or 300mm instead of the standard 440mm length, resulting in a significant reduction of handling weight of up to 33% over a conventional 140mm solid dense block. MIDI block offer a 140mm solid dense block with weights well below the recommended limit of 20kg for repetative manual handling.
In common with all Dense Concrete blocks, MIDI blocks are a highly resilient and tough loadbearing block available in strengths of 7.3N/mm2 or greater, suitable for use above and below dpc.
They are available in standard texture finish for general background applications and also in Fairtex closer-textured finish for paint-grade and fair-faced applications.
Please note that these product properties are not a replacement for the manufacturer's literature and it is always recommended that Thomas Armstrong Group is consulted before specifying.
