ThermoFloor is an EPS panel embedded with Steel C-sections. These insulated panels are used to form cast in situ concrete floors and Flat Roofs. Each ThermoFloor panel has interlocking edges which allow them to quickly and efficiently slot together. Once laid, steel Rebar is placed along the entire length of the panel in the T-beam at every panel joint. A layer of mesh is tied on top and concrete screed is poured on top of this.
When installed this unique flooring system, part of the Thermohouse complete energy efficient building system, is less than half the weight of hollow core precast floors, yet provides the same load capacity. A superior floor solution with excellent insulation properties, at a competitive price, installed in record time!
• Lightweight, ease of use results in a considerable time reduction for the installation.
• Offers improved control of the thermal insulation and air tightness between floors.
• Customised cut to length panels that can span up to 10 metres.
• No need for shuttering or lifting Cranes.
• Excellent noise reduction which acts as an additional sound barrier between floors.
• Clean sites, no waste or messy wet trades required.
• Unique design with channels for services and ventilation, eliminating cold bridging.
Please note that these product properties are not a replacement for the manufacturer's literature and it is always recommended that Thermohouse is consulted before specifying.
