Topproof - Waterproof Concrete
Ordinary concrete contains fine pores that allow moisture to penetrate the surface and pass through. The size and volume of these pores is dictated by the water/cement ratio; the higher the ratio, the more porous the concrete.
TopProof waterproof concrete contains two specially formulated admixtures. The first reduces the water/cement ratio, increasing the density of the mix and minimising the size of the pores. The second fills the remaining pores ensuring a watertight concrete. When installed in conjunction with secondary waterproofing systems, Topproof delivers a totally watertight structure. It is very quick and easy to install, highly reliable and requires minimal maintenance.
