The thickness and unique surfaces of the Stoneleaf Celtic Grey results in a roof finish that has texture depth and character.
The Stoneleaf Celtic Grey Slate is a product with a rugged textured surface, hand split from premium quality Grade 'A' rock, formed 400 million years ago during the Ordovician period, the same time as Ffestiniog Welsh Slate.
Increasingly the preferred choice of specifiers, developers, private homeowners and conservation officers, the Celtic Grey adds character and charm to the most prestigious properties.
At approximately 54kg/m2 when laid, it is far heavier than many other roof slate finishes, making it less liable to wind damage in our increasingly turbulent climate.
Please note that these product properties are not a replacement for the manufacturer's literature and it is always recommended that Stoneleaf Building Materials is consulted before specifying.
