Spilka Tango

The Spilka Tango hardware allows the efficient production of 'slide shut' sliding patio door. It is a unique solution with a hinged wheel assembly that helps the door roll easily with a minimum of friction.

With its simple construction, the Tango sliding patio door has become a popular solution. Our patented wheel assembly is the key to the solution, it features a unique movement during opening and closing. When the door is closed, the articulated wheel bearings will close the external sliding leaf against the fixed leaf and its weather strip giving excellent weather protection.

The sliding door is designed according to the same principles as outward opening windows, when the door is closed, the articulated wheel bearings will close the external sliding leaf against the fixed leaf and its weather strip. As with outward opening windows, increased wind pressure on the sliding door leaf provides added pressure against the weather strips, enhancing the sealing effect and preventing water and air infiltration.
