Solex HALO Solar Shading

This product features a range of symmetrically shaped ‘elliptical’ or ‘aerofoil’ shading blade profiles. These profiles are manufactured and fabricated from either ‘Single piece’ or 'multi-part' extruded Aluminium die sections. From stock, depending on quantity requirements, we are usually able to offer our HALO-100, HALO-150, HALO-200, HALO-300 and HALO-400 blade profiles.

Solinear can also provide new, bespoke, solar shading blade profiles of practically any geometry designed specifically to meet our client’s specific requirements. Assistance can also be given on structural integrity, profile performance under load, and tooling design.

Solex™ HALO elliptical shading blade profiles can be fixed either horizontally or vertically in orientation and have varying span capabilities dependent upon profile size and angle of inclination.

Structurally, optimum performance is usually achieved with the blades fixed at an angle of 45 degrees although the blades can be set to any angle from 0 degrees to 90 degrees and Solinear can advise on blade deflections and performance under dead and live loading conditions to assist in the correct blade choice for the circumstance and also structural connections between the blades, end plate carriers and final connection details and Brackets/fixings back to the building structure.
