The SarnaTherm PIR range of rigid thermal insulants are CFC and HCFC closed cell rigid polyisocyanurate insulants, manufactured for Sika Ltd to BS EN 13165 “Thermal Insulation products for buildings - factory made rigid polyurethane foam (PUR)”. Produced by a chemical reaction, during which a blowing agent is added causing the foam to rise between two facings, to which it autohesively bonds, producing a finished product when cooled.
