Designed and built for protection in an event of fire or ballistic attack. Glazed Security Doors are the leading method of protecting employees and assets from potentially dangerous or hazardous environments. With glazed Vision Panels to provide better visibility and aesthetic appeal without reducing the Security requirements.
The Doors are bespoke constructed and certified to meet the requirements of the most rigorous criminal attacks. There are a large number of different constructions and door configurations available, with varying levels of manual attack resistance, bullet resistance, blast resistance and fire resistance available for a range of active secure environments.
Constructed from 16 SWG (Standard Wire Gauge), 1.6mm thick ‘zintec’ Steel sheet material and formed with Dutch-folded seams. The doors are assembled with a bonded honeycomb core prior to welding. Hinge and lockmount reinforcements are incorporated prior to spray priming / finishing. The frame can be formed of ‘zintec’ steel that is supplied as a bolt together set or alternatively it can be formed of a rectangular welded hollow section. All hinge cut-outs and lock mortises are reinforced prior to spray priming / finishing.
The additional security protection offered by Safetell Level 3 and 4 includes major reinforcement of the working points and frame sections combined with hinge bolt locations. The Level 4 door utilises a heavy duty continuous hinge. The door leaf consists of a heavy duty tubular steel frame surrounding integral structural members and clad steel armour. A flange around the outside edges of the door prevents attacks from tools inserted between the door and frame. The door is hung in the frame by a full length continuous hinge and features a unique door frame device for maximum security. The frame is constructed from heavy duty tubular steel section with integral continuous door stop and threshold, doors are made to order and so a wide range of sizes and options can be accommodated.
Please note that these product properties are not a replacement for the manufacturer's literature and it is always recommended that Safetell is consulted before specifying.
