Mastic Asphalt (SMA) is predominantly used as a surface course material and is produced using high quality aggregates, bitumen and cellulose fibres. SMA was originally designed for use on higher speed and high volume roads but variations in mix design has seen it more commonly used on driveways, yards and house fronts.
