Pearlwood is a very light product manufactured from premium hardwoods, which are intensively hand sanded and coated with fine layers of stain or paint for a brilliant lustrous finish. It is also a beautiful and stable Timber. With a fast growth time, Pearlwood has a stunning finish when stained and is the perfect option for a shaped shutters.
Pearlwood shutters are our lightest wood, ideal for all our styles such as full height, café style and tier on tier shutters. Additionally Pearlwood can be maufactured to produce shaped shutters and solid panels. Pearlwood is a popular choice as it has a paint finish on both the shutters and framing. It is available in all our in-house colours and stain finishes.
The Pearlwood range offers a Custom Colour Matching option allowing you to have your shutters in your favourite colour. It is a very elegant product and can virtually be installed in any window – from bay to triangular windows and all styles and shapes in between. They are ideal for large window expanses or windows situated within roof spaces. It has one of the highest strength to weight ratios.
