Be sure to look for the Pilkington Insulight™ name stamped on to the spacer bar between the two panes of glass. Then you'll know you have Insulating Glass Units you can trust. You can choose the type of Pilkington Insulight™ IGU to meet your requirements and then specify it to your window company or glazing contractor. Pilkington Insulight™ Protect units incorporate at least one pane of Pilkington Optilam™ or Pilkington T glass, our laminated and Toughened Glass products. The units offer heightened safety and security and are designed to break safely or remain intact on impact, reducing the risk of injury. They can also be incorporated into specialised framing and locking systems to provide added security to your home.
