Automatic opening smoke vent (AOV) designed to provide natural smoke ventilation for Single-stair blocks of flats and common escape routes. Can be supplied with insulated kerb in either PVC or thermally broken Aluminium or as an adaptor kerb to suit existing Kerbs.

AOV can open to either 90º or 140º operating as a standalone system or as part of an existing / new building fire management system.

The vents can provide free area of 1.0 or 1.5 m² to comply with the Building Regulations (E&W) Approved Document B, or can be sized to provide any other specified ventilation area.
