African Rainbow Granite

African Rainbow granite is a multicoloured natural stone from South Africa. This natural granite has a pattern in several hues on an backdrop ranging from beige to light green tones, which is characteristic of this particular type.
Some formations of African Rainbow granite can also be found in Namibia with more predominant beige background. The material can be used in internal applications such as kitchen worktops, flooring and cladding as well as externally for facades, patios, balconies and terraces.
Its low water absorption makes it ideal for countertop applications and its toughness is comparable only to that of quartz stones.
This natural product come in slabs ranging from 2800x1800mm to 3200x1950mm which allows for large pieces without seems and is available in standard thicknesses of 20mm and 30mm.
African Rainbow granite is available in a polished finish as standard and can be sourced in honed, Anticato, flamed and bush hammered finishes too.
