Secondary School Student Hygiene Room with GH1 Hoist

A fully equipped 12 m² secondary school hygiene room designed to support safe and efficient assisted transfers in accordance with DfE guidance. This space is suitable for older pupils who require personal care, changing, showering, or movement support within mainstream or SEN secondary settings.

The hygiene room can be configured with a choice of GH1 ceiling hoist mounting systems to suit the building layout and structural conditions:

All configurations provide a practical and reliable hoisting solution for secondary school environments, enabling safe transfers between the changing bench, WC, shower area, and other hygiene room fixtures. The GH1 hoist provides a Safe Working Load of 200 kg (31.5 st), meeting the lifting and handling requirements outlined in BB102 for secondary-age pupils.
