The HD1030 Hush System LP from Hush Acoustics is a simple floating floor system for the refurbishment of timber floors that meets the sound insulation requirements of all UK Building Regulations.
The system is ideal for use in separating floors/ceilings which feature lath and plaster ceilings because it is installed from the floor side only, enabling ornate and decorative features on the ceiling to remain intact.
HD1030 is a fully tested system that complies with Approved Document E (England & Wales), Section 5 (Scotland) and Part G (Northern Ireland).
The simplicity of HD1030 comes through an innovative combination of Hush Acoustics' sound insulation materials. It is formed in the following way:
Acoustic Performance*
Impact (LnTw) - 54 dB
Airborne (DnTw) - 58 dB
Airborne (DnTW+Ctr) - 50 dB
* Results based on the Hush System HD1030 and a minimum of 200mm deep joists and a full lath and plaster ceiling in good condition.
Please note that these product properties are not a replacement for the manufacturer's literature and it is always recommended that Hush Acoustics is consulted before specifying.
