Langley HW6071 - Engineered Wood Flooring UV Oiled European Oak 1-Strip 14x190mm Character
HW6071 Langley is a medium brown floor offered in a one strip pattern. Its engineered construction adds significant stability to the board allowing for natural wood expansion without compromising on the real wood aesthetic.
The sawn timber is passed through rotating brushes to highlight the grain structure and give natural texture to the surface. Then HW6071 is prefinished with a UV cured hardwax oil that offers the advantages of lacquer with the subtlety of oil. The micro-porous, water-repellent surface also offers higher protection from stains.
Designated as “Character” grade, you should expect to find both heartwood and sapwood and a variety of colour variation. Knots may be larger, and checks (cracks across the growth ring) can be included.
All four sides of this plank feature a bevelled edge which accentuates the outer perimeter of each individual board. The planks have a tongue and groove profile and should be fully bonded to the subfloor using a suitable adhesive.
HW6071 is PEFC™ Certified (PEFC/16-37-1417).
