The HeatStream Electric Range has been specifically designed to meet the modern need to provide mains pressurised hot water in flats and apartments utilising off-peak electricity efficiently, The HeatStream Electric PLUS meeting the demands of larger flats and properties where off-peak electricity and an additional or alternative more traditional primary heat source such as a boiler or a district heating are available.

The HeatStream Electric PLUS uses the simple tried and tested thermal store process but with a modern twist, it is open vented and therefore not subject to part G Building regulations in the U.K. and the discharge requirements associated with traditional unvented cylinders. It is best suited for properties where there is district heating, gas boiler, oil boiler, LPG boiler or other heat source alongside electricity. The HeatStream Electric Plus overfill can simply run to a waste pipe internally or external overflow if preferred. If neither of these options are possible, the fully internal overfill model can be used.
