GCS Exterior is a class 1 vapour open, premium ecological, natural mineral and silicate based paint for exterior use. Ideally suited for use in heritage buildings , older properties and building facades, where a traditional mineral finish and fully breathable paint system is required.
Ultra-low CO2e 0.117kg CO2e/m2 (per coat) offers significant carbon savings on projects.
Classified as A2 -s1, d0, GCS Exterior is also fire resistant, recommended for projects that require materials that resist the spread of flame.
• Flat matt – 2% sheen.
• Trace VOCs – less than 0.1%
• Durable – Class 1 wet scrub
• Breathable – Class 1 vapour open; reduces condensation & allows walls to ‘breathe’ Sd less than 0.06
• Traditional – classic mineral texture
• Colour fast – Metal oxide pigments used for maximum colourfastness and stability
• Non-combustible – rated A2 -s1, d0 (specification required)
• Excellent coverage – 10-14m2/L per coat
