Geomembranes Polyethylene (GT 500) and HDPE

Geoworks supplies a robust range of geomembranes designed for containment, protection, and environmental security across civil engineering, construction, and water management projects.

GT Membrane 500 is a high-quality polyethylene liner designed for reliable containment in applications such as ponds, lagoons, and attenuation tanks. With a density of ≥940 kg/m³, it offers strong chemical resistance and durability against puncture and tear. Its flexibility allows for easy installation, particularly in confined or irregularly shaped areas, ensuring an effective barrier against fluid migration. GT Membrane 500 provides long-term performance for smaller to medium scale containment projects, balancing strength with ease of handling.

HDPE Geomembranes are engineered for larger-scale and heavy-duty containment needs. Manufactured from high-density polyethylene (HDPE), they provide exceptional chemical, UV, and abrasion resistance, making them suitable for landfill lining, reservoir construction, SuDS ponds, and industrial applications. HDPE geomembranes maintain integrity under challenging site conditions and have a proven service life extending over decades. Their strength and resistance to stress cracking ensure consistent protection against leakage and environmental contamination.

Both GT Membrane 500 and HDPE geomembranes play an important role in Sustainable Drainage Systems (SuDS) by acting as impermeable barriers that support water quality protection, flood risk management, and the safe storage of surface water.

Geoworks offers full technical support, from product selection to installation guidance, helping specifiers and contractors deliver safe, efficient, and sustainable containment solutions.
