Lipped edges (edge 3 or edge 5) are generally recommended for worktops used in wet areas.
Alternatively, or in addition, the following options are available:
Shallow Recess - Any size, with optional fall. Minimum depth: 10 mm. Corner radius: 10 or 15 mm.
A shallow recess formed within the work surface to surround the sink bowl(s).
Made in any size.
With or without slope to bowl
Corner radius: 0 mm, 10 mm or 15mm
Minimum depth: 10 mm
Pressed Recess - Any size, flat. Depth: 3 mm. Variable corner radius (minimum 2 mm).
A flat, recessed, area can be pressed into the worktop in any size or position to provide a wet zone or catchment area.
Any size
Variable corner radius (minimum 10 mm)
3 mm deep
Tailored Edges - Using variations on GEC Anderson edge 3 and edge 2.
GEC Anderson edge (3) and edge (2) can be specially adapted to achieve a neat and bespoke wet zone surrounding the sink bowl(s).
The flat area of the edge profile can be 'extended' to achieve a lowered area within the worktop, as required. In this example, it has been possible to achieve an attractive un-lipped edge profile to the hob area of the same worktop.
Drainers - Standard sink and drainer combinations
Here standard bowl and drainer combination IS21 has been specified.
This way, standard bowl and drainer sizes and configurations only are available
BOSS - Raised dimple patter to facilitate draining and drying
GEC Anderson BOSS profile provides an attactive and practical alternative work surface finish.
The BOSS raised profile facilitates drainage and can be used for hot pans.
When ordering please specify the size of the BOSS area required.
Please note that these product properties are not a replacement for the manufacturer's literature and it is always recommended that GEC Anderson is consulted before specifying.
