Pozi Pan Head Reduced Shank Captive Screws

by Fastenright

Pozi Pan Head Reduced Shank Captive Screws combine the captive solution of a captive screw with the compatibility of a Pozi drive.
They are designed with an unthreaded portion below the head, known as the reduced shank. When installed, this screw is meant to self retain, preventing any loss of fasteners.
The pan head hosts a flat underside, providing a large mating surface area for increased retention while the domed profile gives an aesthetic finish to the intended application.
Often used within safety equipment, as well as within manufacturing and military industries.
Pozi Pan Head Reduced Shank Captive Screws are an adaptation of DIN 7985Z with a plain portion leaving a reduced core diameter.
As standard, these screws are manufactured in A2 Stainless Steel and A4 Stainless Steel, but can be made in specialised materials such as Titanium. They can be produced with a thread locking anti-vibration patch.
Sizes from M1.6 to M8 and lengths ranging from 8mm to 100mm, available from Fastenright.
Non-standard sizes, materials and finishes are available to order as specials, including small volume manufacture, modifications and custom parts made to drawings.
