Hyrdrosil Seam Sealer & Detailer

Hydrosil Seam Sealer & Detailer is a premium silicone multi-purpose mastic for protection of seams, penetrations, and fasteners on various architectural surfaces and roofing substrates. Upon cure, Seam Sealer & Detailer forms a durable, breathable and weatherproof barrier that is highly resistant to degradation from UV and natural weathering.

All flashing details, penetrations and curbs should be covered with HydroSil Seam Sealer and Detailer at 3-4mm thick and then feathered at the edges for the water to flow over the various flashing details. Large splits/blisters must also be repaired prior to using the Hydrosil Coating, use Hydrosil Heavy Duty Reinforcement roll fabric with the Seam Sealer and Detailer Seam Sealer at 1.5 - 2 mm thick in a three-course fashion and spread to 5 cm to 10 cm beyond the splits/blisters areas.

Additional areas such as roof felt, roof drains, curb Flashings, fasteners, penetrations, seams, Pitch pans and curbed AC units should all be covered using Hydrosil Seam Sealer. Seam Sealer & Detailer is part of a system with complimentary products including Hydrosil Reinforcement Roll and Hydrosil Silicone Roof Coating. The Seam Sealer can be used together with the Reinforcement Roll to provided additional reinforcing on joints prior to use of the Hydrosil coating. All together they provide a superior quality coating that product comes with a 10 year warranty.
