CORE EDGE is an innovative, easy-to-install flexible steel garden edging system, suitable for edging lawns, borders, patios, pathways, and driveways.

Manufactured here in the UK from a high quality 1.6mm mild steel, available in three face heights and five finishes.

Each pack of 5 x 1075mm strips joins together to provide 5 meters of edging once installed.

AkzoNobel Powder Coating

The raw steel has a 20-micron galvanized zinc coating to increase the edging life-span.

The product is then finished with a 110-micron polyester powder coating, designed for external use.

The coating is applied electrostatically and is then cured under extreme heat to allow it to flow and form a “skin”. This skin creates a hard-wearing flexible finish that is tougher than conventional paint.

Why CORE EDGE?

CORE EDGE was designed to create the perfect edge restraint for a variety of landscaping applications. The pre-formed ground spike incorporates a unique fold along its centre to provide maximum strength, reinforcing the spike, and making it ideal for use in tougher ground conditions.

If soft ground is encountered, a rebar extension simply fixes through the ground spike to provide additional stability. The entire range is quick and easy to install with no specialist tools required and is available in a range of finishes.

The connecting overlap is 75mm per edge which means when a pack of 5 is connected together you will get 5 linear meters of coverage on the ground.

The dual locking mechanism provides a rigid connection between adjoining edges, helping to provide an almost seamless connection with double locking tabs.

Once connected if more hands are available, pre-joined edges can be installed as one continuous length. Making it far easier to create larger curves or complex shapes.

The easy-to-install expanding clip and galvanised rebar extension pin mean you can reinforce the pre-formed ground spike by an additional 300mm. One of the main benefits of this pin system is that it can be installed after the edging has been installed (retrofit). This means you will not need to re-lift any edgings to add additional support.
