CA Twin-Therm® built up wall cladding systems are intended to give the best possible aesthetic performance while simplifying the design. The liner arrangement is the same for all options, helping to future-proof the building envelope design with fire resistance as standard.
Our Built Up Wall Cladding Products
CA Twin-Therm® wall cladding system has been tested to Loss Prevention Certification Board (LPCB) LPS 1181-1 and achieves Grade ‘EXT-B’ certification. The standard CA Twin-Therm® built up wall system provides 240 minutes integrity (E) and 15 minutes insulation (I) resistance. This fire performance is maintained across all available system depths and ensures that in the event of a fire the wall system will not contribute to the fire load. The FireWall performance of this built-up wall cladding system can be enhanced to offer up to 120 minutes insulation resistance if required. As standard all fire resistant wall constructions offer symmetrical protection, protecting from either fire within the building, or fires started on the external of the building. This makes the cladding equally effective against arson or fires started in electric vehicle charging stations or similar external instances. Enhanced options to achieve LPS 1181-1 Grade 'EXT-A15' and 'EXT-A120' are also available.
CA Twin-Therm® built up commercial cladding system utilising Euroclass 'A1' non-combustible insulation offers a low-risk solution that can meet the requirements of insurance standards. CA Twin-Therm® wall cladding systems where the external wall profile is laid horizontally presents little additional challenge and provide a simple cost-effective solution to these aesthetically demanding designs. Offering all the same benefits of vertically laid cladding profiles, the orientation of the external profile horizontally is often selected for its striking visual appeal. The CA 300MR profile offers a unique alternative to composite panels, while removing the need for additional tertiary steelwork, optimising fenestration design and reducing embodied carbon. In the event of accidental damage individual panels can be removed and replaced without the need to expose the building or remove large areas of commercial wall cladding.
CA’s installation guide, system specification and training should be closely followed, as our years of experience have enabled us to offer a simple installation method that can make all the difference to the visual quality of an elevation. A range of standardised details and features are available to suit particular joint arrangements.
Please note that these product properties are not a replacement for the manufacturer's literature and it is always recommended that CA Building Products is consulted before specifying.
