Cherry - Timber

Found is southeastern Canada and the eastern half of the United States.
Varies from light to dark reddish brown in colour and has a distinctive luster. The sapwood is narrow and nearly white. The wood has a fairy uniform texture.
Used primarily for furniture, fine veneer panels and architectural woodwork.
