Type 3 Button-fix concealed panel connector

Button-fix is a highly precise and secure way of attaching panels without any visible fixings. The versatile range makes panelling walls or ceilings, assembling furniture, and hanging many other interior fittings easy and reliable. When mounted on Button-fix, panels can be removed in a matter of seconds, to gain access to pipework and services, for repair, recycling or updating to the latest design. Type 3 is our latest and simplest Button-fix fastener: 

• Connects panels face-to-face with a 3mm or 8mm gap.
• Strong push on/pull off engagement.
• Ideal for acoustic (including lightweight PET), wall and ceiling panels.

The Type 3 Button-fix simply connects parallel panels, including panels with no clearance at the side. It can be surface-mounted or semi-recessed into the panel to reduce the installation depth.

Type 3 is manufactured from durable engineering polymers: PBT and acetal. As a general guide, four fasteners can support a vertical panel weighing up to a maximum of 60kg, provided that the screws and substrate are properly matched and all other installation instructions are complied with.
