Type 1 Bonded Button-fix concealed panel connector

Button-fix is a highly precise and secure way of attaching panels without any visible fixings. The versatile range makes panelling walls or ceilings, assembling furniture, and hanging many other interior fittings easy and reliable. When mounted on Button-fix, panels can be removed in a matter of seconds, to gain access to pipework and services, for repair, recycling or updating to the latest design. Type 1 Bonded is ideal for thin panel materials:

Type 1 Bonded is for use where screw-fixing to the panel is not possible and bonding is the preferred option. It can be either surface-mounted or semi-rebated and works with a broad range of materials.

The Fix is moulded from ABS and the Button is 30% glass-filled nylon PA6. There are many adhesives suitable for bonding the Fix: a 2-part structural acrylic adhesive, a matched adhesive for solid surface (e.g. Hanex®) or solvent weld for bonding to acrylic.
