Moordale® Textured Steps and Risers

Moordale® Textured Steps and Risers are specialized flag paving units designed to create safe, compliant changes in level within the built environment. Manufactured in the UK to complement our Moordale® specifier paving range, these units feature an integrated GRP demarcation nosing, creating a Part M compliant step without the need for additional on-site fabrication. The textured finish ensures a high-quality aesthetic that seamlessly integrates with the surrounding hard landscaping while providing the essential slip resistance required for public access areas.

Achieving legislative compliance for access shouldn't compromise the visual integrity of a project. Moordale® Textured Steps provide a pre-formed solution that incorporates the necessary visibility strips (GRP nosing) directly into the unit. This design significantly reduces installation time and cost compared to retrofitting visibility strips to standard paving. Engineered for public spaces, the units are installed to BS 7533-3:2005 standards and offer a robust, textured surface with a USRV >40 rating for slip resistance. Available in Natural and Buff shades, they allow specifiers to extend the premium Moordale® aesthetic throughout multi-level landscapes while meeting all necessary building regulations.
