Blast & fire walls

Booth s blast and fire walls for lower spans and blast loads are fabricated in a trapezoidal 'Trough' form. They are lighter and quicker to install on site than traditional fabrications built from conventional flat steel plate with welded stiffeners.

For higher spans and blast loads it provides a patented Arch wall profile which is noticeably more efficient compared to the conventional trapezoidal shape. This results in a wall which is significantly lighter and hence less expensive, particularly for stainless steel constructions.

The patented 'Arch' design has been verified by non-linear finite element analysis on several projects and has been reviewed and approved by Lloyds and client engineers on several projects.
