Yorkstone - Natural Stone
Yorkstone is a term given to hard Sandstone, typically from the North of England. It is popular in both new construction and restoration.
The colour depends on the minerals within its makeup and differs throughout the quarries from which it is mined. Newly quarried Yorkstone is usually available as
slabs for Paving, paving setts and walling.
BBS have access to a range of Yorkstones including Hayfield and Whitworth for use as landscape materials. Other Yorkstones can be sourced but Stone
availability is intermittent and may vary depending on weather, planning constraints etc. Please contact us should you have a specific requirement.
