Greywell Sawn

by Artorius Faber

Wonderful mix of tones, light grey with swathes of sweeping muted orange laid down in patterns that only nature could deliver. Extensively used in the public realm as Paving, notably in Spitalfields Market, front of Westminster Chapel and alongside Portcullis House, this durable Sandstone is well suited to any exterior application. Although the majority of this Stone purchased for use out in the open to withstand the attacks of nature, with specialised finishing it is a good choice as a tough internal floor covering.

As with the majority of the outside materials, there are a whole range of different design features the can be achieved with stone; smaller setts, path Edging, textured strips, solid steps and to assist the visually impaired; blister strips and bubbles.
